OLD FORGE CAPTAIN BOUND OVER FOR TRIAL

Magisterial District Judge Sean McGraw bound over all charges for police captain

Jamie Krenitsky to stand trial on all four sexual assault charges to Lackawanna county

court. After the preliminary  hearing in  scranton,   Deputy District AttorneyJennifer

MCCambridge said the victim has not changed her story one bit since she came to our

office she provided to investigators the same story over and over. She has been honest

since day one," capt. Krenitsky's Attorney Jason Mattioli that the victim is all over the

place and that the victim's story of their relationship was false. The victim also told

investigators she had  sexual  relations with  suspend  Old Forge police chief Larry

Semenza 48, and ex borough firefighter Walter Chiavacci for sexually assaulting her

from 2004 to 2007. The sexual relationship has drawn the attention of the FBI, but

where the investigation is going is unknown. On June 27, the victim testifield on the

frist day of a   two- day- long hearing which was continued tuesday.  The  victim

provided enough details of the sexual encounters that was done to her. The Old Forge

Tribune does not identify victims of sexual assault. Capt. Krenitsky say's he's innocent.

Cpl. Clark from state police Dunmore testifield that Capt. Krenitsky admitted in an

interview at the D.A. office the same day investigators spoke to the victim about the

abuse that she performed oral sex on him. An interview with Capt. Krenitsky happened

hours after investigators set up a wiretap phone call between him and the victim in

which he admitted to having consensual sexual activity with  her and he even apologized

to the victim about it. That evening in a written statement, he admitted only to kissing her,

Cpl. Clark testified. Capt. Krenitsky was always wearing his gun belt and badge he would

go into the bunk room unzipper his pants and drop them to his knees," she testified-there

were no witnesses, nor any DNA found at the crime sence in the firehouse. Mr. Mattioli

contends that investigators and police can not prove that the alleged sexual assault happened

before her 16th birthday. Mr. Mattioli has also questioned why the victim waited seven years

to tell anyone about this crime.
