Old Forge Council work session 8\7\2012









The Old Forge council meet at a work session and conducted bussiness

for their august 21st council meeting. There were residents that spoke in

public comment. One resident Joe Russick asked a question how does the

engineer get paid he read sections from the code book and informed council

that he went back 2 years and showed council how the engineer was paid.

Ralph chase asked if the traffic light on drake street could be looked at by

penn dot for timing device. Kim Krah spoke about big trees along the back

of her yard and rodents problem where she been bit by an insect she can't

even sit in her back yard she wanted to know who owned the property.

Joe Reviello spoke about a water problem he's been having for quite

some time now council said they will go to his home when we get a next

bad storm and video tape where the water is coming from. Robert Hughes

asked council if they have no shame because he put officer in charge in

his website showing council that Kim Buggey was dancing drunk on a

local bar in Old Forge what kind of officer in charge is she. He told council

we need to restore the pride back in Old Forge. Robert also asked if the two

officers that were suspended are receving their health benefits council  said

that the Atty Gerald  Karam said that council can't take away their benefits.

Robert asked are they taking appliacations for a commissioner's job council

president Brian Rinaldi asked what is a commissioner something like batman

movie. Robert hughes  informed him that it is in charge of the police department

to over see

operations he stated no then Robert  asked him are you taking appliacants and did you

advertise it in the paper he said no.Their just weighing their options. Ralph chase

asked the same question and he was told no also. One lady spoke about her alley

being used for dumping site by neighbors. The councilmen present at the work

session on 8\7\2012 were Council President Brian Rinaldi and  councilmen Russell

Rinaldi, Robert Semenza Jr., Dominick Vender, Charles Karam.
