SCRANTON POLICE CHIEF TO WORK PATRTIME IN DUNMORE.



Scranton police chief Dan Duffy will work part time with Dunmore police.
After Chief Duffy officially leaves the Scranton police and his salary of
80.000 in less than two weeks, he will begin part-time work in Dunmore
making 13.50 an hour. Borough Council voted unanimously monday night
to hire the Chief to pick up shifts when full-time officers are on vacation or
someone calls in sick. "If the mayor does not run or isn't going to get re-ele
cted I could be out of a job," Chief Duffy said Monday. I have the vision I
want to bring to the police academy, Chief Duffy said. Chief Duffy will
begin his duties on July 23 2012 with the Lackawanna College. Dunmore
 Councilman  Paul  Nardozzi  liaison  between  the Council  and  police
department, said Chief Duffy will bring a wealth of knowledge and
