SCRANTON'S POLICE CHIEF RESIGNS AND CAPTAIN CARL GRAZIANO BECOMES ACTING CHIEF

Duffy gives two week notice to resign as top cop.

He will start a new career at Lackawanna College's police

academy, position which will lead new cops to new generation.

Scranton police chief Dan Duffy has resign as chief of police this morning.

This news source was unsuccessful in  contacting  Chief  Duffy  about  his

resigning as Chief of police in Scranton. We found out

threw investigation

that Captain Carl Graziano is acting  Chief of police in Scranton.

 Does this

mean that Scranton no longer has a bull dog for Chief. What will Scranton

do with out Duffy will the drug trade come back to Scranton like it was years

ago. Will Carl be able to step in Duffy's shoes or will he be another Duffy and

crack down on drug dealers and clean up Scranton.

The Old Forge Tribune wishes Dan Duffy well on his new career. Carl we wish you well too.
